A low price sometimes makes people wonder what the catch is. With us there isn't one, and we are happy to explain how that works.
No employed staff
We have no reception desk with employees who need paying all day. The owner handles the first meeting personally, and a regular freelancer takes care of the key handover. That saves a large part of the fixed costs, and we pass that saving on in the rent.
No chain and no franchise
We are not part of a national chain or franchise. So no money goes to head offices, national advertising campaigns or fees. You rent directly from the business owner who runs the location personally.
All costs are included in the price
Our rates are all-in. No admin fees are added, you don't have to take out insurance through us, and we don't charge a key deposit. The price on our price list is the amount you pay each month.

Business storage and stock
For freelancers, installers, painters, builders and online shops, a storage unit is an affordable alternative to business premises. You store tools, materials or stock for a fraction of the price of an industrial unit, with access seven days a week. If your stock grows, you simply move to a larger unit.
Archive storage
Lots of files but little space? Office space is expensive, and archives don't need to be consulted every day. With us, you put your archive furniture in your own unit, which you can reach seven days a week. Ideal for documents you are legally required to keep but rarely need.
Garage units and motorbike storage
On the Kroppestraat site we have six garage units of 15 m² and 20 m² where you can store your car, classic car, caravan or trailer. These garage units are accessible 24 hours a day. For motorbikes and scooters we have a separate motorbike unit.

Two locations in Swalmen, close to Roermond
We have two storage locations, both in Swalmen. That puts you a few minutes' drive from Roermond and within easy reach of Reuver, Beesel, Herten and the rest of Central Limburg. At both locations you can drive right up to your unit, so loading and unloading takes little effort.

What does a storage unit cost at Veilig Opslaan?
A storage unit costs from € 25 per month for 1 m² / 3 m³. The popular 5 m² / 15 m³ size, which holds the contents of a flat, costs € 85 per month. All rates are all-in: no admin fees, compulsory insurance or key deposit are added.
Where are the Veilig Opslaan locations?
We have two locations, both in Swalmen: Kroppestraat 28 and Rijksweg Noord 59-61. That is a few minutes' drive from Roermond and within easy reach of Reuver, Beesel, Herten and the rest of Central Limburg.
When can I get to my storage unit?
Every day from 06:00 to 23:00. You get your own personal access code, so you don't have to collect or return a key. The garage units on Kroppestraat are accessible 24 hours a day.
What is the minimum rental period?
Storage is possible from one week for as long as you like. After the first month, your storage unit can be cancelled monthly (30 days).
How can I be sure I choose the right size?
On moving-in day you can always easily switch to a larger or smaller unit. Need a different size after all? You can always switch sizes, even in the middle of your move! Why is Veilig Opslaan cheaper than the big chains?
